„Passion for Excellence“

Von „South Kensington“ lief ich jeweils eine knappe halbe Stunde bis zum Private Dining Club „Mosimann’s“. Und dies immer mit einem breiten Grinsen. „Belgravia“, so hiess das Stadtviertel, war eines der edleren und in der Nähe vom berühmten „Hyde Park“. Von aussen, sah der Private Dining Club so aus:

From „South Kensington“ I walked half an hour to the Private Dining Club „Mosimann’s“ and always wearing a big smile. „Belgravia“, that was the name of the district, was one of the nobler ones and near the famous „Hyde Park“. From the outside, Mosimann’s Private Dining Club looks like:

Jacquie Baillie ist bereits über 25 Jahre an der Club Reception. Als meine Mentorin, zusammen mit Maria Bambus, nahm sie mich für zwei Wochen lang auf. Ich durfte Reservationen entgegennehmen und bestätigen, die Gäste im Club empfangen, bei Bedarf Mäntel und Taschen aufbewahren, Korrespondenz erledigen und den Mitarbeitern unter die Arme greifen.

Das verbesserte mein Englisch und mein Selbstvertrauen.

Jacquie Baillie has been at the Club Reception for over 25 years now. As my mentor, along with Maria Bambus, she trained me for two weeks. I was allowed to accept and confirm reservations, attend guests at the club, to store coats and bags when needed, handle correspondence, and assist the staff.

That improved my English quite a lot as well as my self-confidence

Die Atmosphäre war unglaublich schön, die Mitarbeiter alle freundlich und stets gut gelaunt. Die Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Beruf spürte man überall, egal wo man sich in der ehemaligen Kirche gerade befand.
Diese Leidenschaft habe ich übrigens bereits eingepackt in mein Gepäck für Kazan.

The atmosphere in this former church was extremely pleasant, the staff were all friendly and always in their best mood. One could feel the passion and love for the job everywhere.
By the way…, I have already packed this passion into my luggage for Kazan

Es hat mir wirklich Spass gemacht. Zudem war es eine neue Arbeitserfahrung. Es hat mich sehr gefreut, Mark Mosimann und Anton Mosimann (die Legende persönlich) kennenzulernen. Tatsächlich eine exzellente Inspiration!
